-Material Topics for Sustainable Development-

Following the "GRI 3: Material Topics" framework published by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in 2021, the Hospital adheres to the topic materiality identification process under the GRI Standards (2021). This systematic process comprises five major steps: "Understanding the Organization’s Context," "Identifying Impacts," "Assessing Significance," "Determining Material Topics," and "Defining Topic Boundaries." Through this systematic approach, we identify sustainability issues of high relevance to both the Hospital's operational development and its stakeholders. Concurrently, taking into account international sustainability trends, the unique characteristics of the healthcare industry, and the promotional experiences of benchmarking domestic medical institutions, the Sustainability Development Committee invited external experts and scholars to jointly participate in discussions. Based on these insights, key material topics across the three dimensions of ESG were identified, serving as the essential foundation for content disclosure and management strategy planning in the 2025 Sustainability Report.

List of Material Topics for 2025

The Sustainability Development Committee, in collaboration with external experts, evaluated the hospital's actual and potential negative and positive impacts on the economy, environment, and society. Combined with an analysis of stakeholder interest survey results, these scores served as the basis for a comprehensive assessment. Consequently, six material topics were identified for the Hospital in 2025: “Healthcare Quality and Safety Management,“ ”Talent Cultivation,“ “Smart Healthcare,” “Compensation and Retention Mechanisms,” “Sustainable Environmental Management,” and “Forward-Looking Research.”

Moving forward, by actively tracking and executing relevant initiatives, the hospital will ensure that its institutional development aligns seamlessly with societal expectations. While pursuing medical excellence, we will concurrently expand our social impact.
