• Stakeholder and Impact Assessment

The hospital's stakeholder identification adopts the five major principles of the AA 1000 SES stakeholder engagement standard (Stakeholder Engagement Standards): Responsibility, Influence, Tension, Diverse Perspectives, and Dependency for scoring and ranking. By distributing questionnaires to internal managers, incorporating opinions from external experts, and referencing the issues of concern to peer hospitals, the hospital analyzed stakeholder groups that may be positively or negatively impacted by its operational activities. Ultimately, seven key stakeholder groups were identified, namely: internal colleagues, government agencies, patients and their families, academic and research institutions/interns, NCKU, external evaluation institutions, and suppliers/contractors/outsourcers.

Establishing Stable Communication Channels

The Hospital views its stakeholders as partners in mutual growth. To understand stakeholders’ levels of concern regarding the Hospital’s sustainability issues, a diversified and systematic stakeholder communication platform has been established, continuously optimizing channels of exchange to listen to the voices of all parties regarding management, the environment, and public welfare.
