National Cheng Kung University Hospital won the "Healthy Sustainability Potential Development Award" in the United Daily News' Health Sustainability ESG selection
The "Healthy Sustainability Awards" incorporates ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) principles, using rigorous and diverse assessment criteria to select and reward companies and organizations committed to health and environmental sustainability. This initiative aims to galvanize public awareness and action, working together to create a healthier and more sustainable future.
The Sustainability Excellence Model Award, the top honor, was presented to one medical center and one regional hospital. Taichung Veterans General Hospital took the top honors for the medical center, while Xiaogang Hospital took the top honors for the regional hospital. Twelve medical centers and ten regional hospitals also received the "Outstanding Sustainability Practice Award," recognizing their outstanding performance in specific areas. National Cheng Kung University Hospital, Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Puli Christian Hospital, and Show Chwan Memorial Hospital were awarded the "Sustainable Potential Development" award for their innovative thinking and potential for development.
