NCKUH’s 2025 Sustainability Report Receives International Third-Party Assurance

Demonstrating Strong Momentum in Sustainability Governance

To enhance transparency and deepen its commitment to sustainable management, National Cheng Kung University Hospital’s (NCKUH) 2025 Sustainability Report successfully underwent rigorous independent assurance by AFNOR Asia Ltd. This year, the report continues to follow the GRI Standards 2021 and AA1000AS v3 Type 1 Moderate Assurance, providing a comprehensive analysis of the hospital’s achievements across the three ESG dimensions of environmental protection, social responsibility, and organizational governance. The quality of the professional assurance received strong recognition, fully demonstrating the resilience of NCKUH’s healthcare system in aligning with international sustainability standards.

Guided by its core values of “Life, Love, Excellence, and Innovation,” NCKUH integrates sustainability policies into its daily healthcare services and management mechanisms. By introducing objective third-party assurance, the hospital not only significantly enhances the credibility and reliability of its disclosed sustainability data, but also fulfills its commitment to integrity toward patients, employees, and the broader public.

Looking ahead, NCKUH will continue to strengthen its sustainability framework, accelerate its green transition, and regularly publish high-quality sustainability reports. By working together with stakeholders across society, the hospital aims to build a safe, healthy, and inclusive healthcare ecosystem while steadily advancing toward its vision of becoming “the ideal healthcare center for the public and the ideal environment for healthcare professionals to teach, conduct research, and work.”
